It usually develops before the age of 40. In some women, it can occur in their 30s, and rarely even earlier.  <\/p><h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"909\"><strong data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"909\">If Early Menopause is in the Family, Does the Risk Increase?<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"\" data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"1197\">Yes, <strong data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"981\">genetic factors are very decisive in the risk of early menopause.<\/strong> If your mother, aunt or sister had early menopause, your risk is higher. However, this does not necessarily mean that you will also have early menopause, it just means that you need to be more careful. <\/p><h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1243\"><strong data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1243\">When should I consult a doctor?<\/strong><\/h3><p class=\"\" data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1331\">If you have the following conditions, <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1330\">it is strongly recommended<\/strong> that you consult an obstetrician:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1405\">If you are under 35 years of age and have started to experience <strong data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1380\">menstrual irregularities<\/strong> <\/li><li data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1480\">If you have a family history of early menopause and <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1478\">have fertility plans<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1571\">You experience menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness<\/li><li data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1614\">If you are curious about your ovarian reserve<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1670\"><strong data-start=\"1625\" data-end=\"1670\">What does the doctor do?
