However, since every woman&#8217;s cycle is different, some methods can be used to determine the right time.   <\/p><h3><strong>How to Calculate Ovulation Period?<\/strong><\/h3><p>Ovulation usually occurs around the 14th day of the cycle, counting from the first day of the period. However, this period may vary in women whose menstrual cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days. You can use the following methods to determine your ovulation day:   <\/p><ul data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"1292\"><li data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"835\"><strong data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"762\">Calendar Method: <\/strong>You can predict your ovulation day by tracking your menstrual cycle.<\/li><li data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1018\"><strong data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"866\">Basal Body Temperature Measurement: <\/strong>Body temperature rises slightly during ovulation. Temperature changes measured before getting out of bed in the morning can give an idea about ovulation. <\/li><li data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1134\"><strong data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1049\">Cervical Mucus Monitoring: <\/strong>During ovulation, vaginal discharge becomes transparent, slippery and has the consistency of egg white.<\/li><li data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1292\"><strong data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1159\">Ovulation Tests:<\/strong> Urine tests, available from pharmacies, can help you pinpoint the most accurate time by determining when ovulation is approaching.<\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1330\"><strong data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1328\">What is the Best Time?<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1583\">Sperm can survive in the female body for 3-5 days, while an egg cell can only be fertilized within 12-24 hours. Therefore, <strong>starting from 2-3 days before ovulation and continuing until the day after ovulation, having sexual intercourse every 2 days <\/strong>increases the chance of pregnancy. <\/p><p data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1618\">For example, in a 28-day cycle:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1787\"><li data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1678\">It is recommended to have sexual intercourse between the 12th and 16th days. <\/li><li data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1787\">Having intercourse on the days close to ovulation day (day 14) may increase the chances, especially on days 12, 14 and 16.  <\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1838\"><strong data-start=\"1793\" data-end=\"1836\">Regular Sexual Intercourse and Stress Management<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"2057\">Excessive calculation and stress during the conception process can negatively affect the chances of success. Therefore, regular sexual intercourse<strong data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1975\"> 2-3 times a week is recommended<\/strong>.
